I bought the CD, and I have no idea where to find the registration code / serial numbers exist.

It is usually not always the case. To check the upper back of the manual that comes with. (Manual is available in box.)
It is at the back of the manual in the box. I suggest you copy and paste the serial number and e-mail you in if you ever need to keep reinstalling the game and lost the manual.
